Ciampino airport “Giovan Battista Pastine” is located 15 km away from Rome, close to the main rome ring road – grande raccordo anulare (GRA).

It is a fairly small airport therefore you will find:
- Terminal DEPARTURES/ARRIVALS domestic and internationl flights (Low Cost & Charter)
- Terminal GENERAL AVIATION (airtaxi and private flights)

In order to check in – you will have to present your ticket and a valid document. You must make sure the country you are travelling to does not require compulsory vaccinations or visa. If you have checked in online you need to reach the desk only if you have some luggage to check in otherwise you can proceed to security.

I cannot take onboard – knives, scissors, files. UE legislation on fluids transportation allows you 1 lt. only. Cream and liquid containers must be kept in transparent and opening bags and reach a maximum capacity of 100 grams.All kind of weapons are striclty forbidden unless regulated by specific licenses.

How to reach Ciampino Airport –
Terravision bus leaves from Termini train station – Marsala n. 29 F/G ,in front of Terracafè – and will transfer you to Ciampino airport in 40 minutes. The service is guaranteed 24h and evry 20 minutes approximately.

Private taxi service – Your driver will be waiting for you just outside the main entrance.
