Rome Fiumicino “Leonardo Da Vinci” Airport is Rome’s main international airport. It’s also the main italian airport, where all national carriers have their italian headquarters. It has four terminals:
The three main Terminals ( 1, 2, 3) are split in two different floors: the upper floor is used for airport departures, while the lower floor is where you will arrive, have your passport checked, fetch your luggage, pass the local customs and then finally look for a transfer to Rome.
You can reach your accomodation in several ways.
There’s the “Leonardo Express” train leaving from the airport that will reach Termini train station in about half an hour. It leaves twice every hour, and the price is 15€ per person. Then you have to buy a ticket(1€ per person) for the bus or the underground to your accomodation.
You can try to grab a taxi(in Rome taxi vehicles are all white with a small yellow/red checked line on the side and of course the TAXI sign on top) from the arrival taxi platform. It’s very busy during the day and in weekends, you might have to wait some time to catch yours. Price depends on the distance but starts from 40€. There are some extra charges with more than 1 luggage and during Bank Holidays, nightly departures(from 22:00 to 7:00)
We can provide a reliable and cheap service with a private transfer from airport. Click here to book your airport transfer to your accomodation in town. Starting from 50€ you will enjoy a professional service with a luxury Sedan waiting for you at the arrival of your flight.
The driver will be waiting for you by the meeting point (just outside the main passengers’ exit). You will find it easily because it is a wide brown column with golden letters stating “meeting point”.
